I'm sure you will all have seen my photographs of Lake Wakatipu on beautiful still days where the lake glistens and reflections abound. Well here are a few photographs I took yesterday whilst on a photo tour that will prove to you that the lake is a living being and can change it's conditions pretty quickly. Treat it with respect.
I recently has the pleasure of being able to show my good friends Dirk and Sandra from Germany some of the stunning scenery we have here at the head of the lake. I know that they were impressed and have shown an interest in returning to our beautiful country and next time spending a lot more time here. Here are some of the images Dirk managed to capture.
Well as I noted in my last blog, we got a mention in the NZ Herald Travel section, which was just great. Now it's Singapore Airline's In-Flight and Airport lounge magazine. The article written by Pamela Wade is called "New Zealand's Secret Seven" and we are in it. Yeh! Thanks also go to Narelle Robinson for joining one of our tours, sorry but I didn't get the horse's name.
So, 2015, 'Happy New Year' to you all.
