It always gives me great pleasure when I receive photographs from someone who has taken part in one of my Photo Tours. Ron Barnett from Bluff in Southland, New Zealand took the trouble to come up to Glenorchy the other weekend in order to gain some photographic experience and to visit some of our many magnificent locations around the head of the lake. I think you will agree that Ron has managed to capture the essence of our little part of the world. Well done Ron and thanks for sending them through.

After the tragic fire that raised the historic Paradise Trust's homestead to the ground earlier in the year, an arrangement was agreed to whereby the original Glenorchy School house was to be relocated to the trust's grounds.
I spent most of last week following it's progress. If you would like to see how it went, have a look through the photo album on my Paradise Pictures Facebook page.
